The stepping motor driver is a power amplifier which enables the stepping motor to run. It can convert the pulse signal sent from the controller into the angular displacement of the stepper motor. The motor speed is proportional to the pulse frequency, so accurate speed control regulation can be achieved by controlling the pulse frequency. Controllingthe number of pulses can accurately position.
Our product can automatically fit various inductance motors. It can control the current precisely. Its operating voltage range is 24 to 120 V DC or 18 to 80 V AC. It has excellent high-speed performance which is 20% higher than the average products and it runs smoothly at low speed. There are 16 kinds of microstep subdivision, including 2~256 and 5~200 series. The current and subdivision number are set with the DIP switch.
In addition, our stepping motor driver is certified by CE and RoHS. We can also apply for the UL certification as per customers' need.
There are three modes of connection which are described in detail below.
1. Common anode mode
Connect the PUL+, DIR+ and EN+ together as the common anode end which is connected to the +5V of the external system. The pulse signal is connected to the PUL-. The direction signal is connected to the DIR-. The enable signal is connected to the ENA-.
2. Common cathode mode
Connect the PUL-, DIR- and ENA- together as the common cathode end which is then connected to the GND of the system. The pulse signal is connected to the PUL+. The direction signal is connected to the DIR+. The enable signal is connected to the ENA+.
3. Differential mode
Connect the positive and negative ends of the controller's pulse signal, direction signal and enable signal to the PUL+, PUL-, DIR+, DIR-, ENA+ and ENA- of the driver respectively.
Notes
When connecting the driver with the stepper motor, please do not connect the wrong phase. Wrong phase or lost phase will make the motor unable to run normally and may even damage the motor drive.
