The PM stepper motor is an open-loop control system which converts pulse signal into angular or linear displacement. The displacement amount is controlled through controlling the number of pulses, thus realizing accurate positioning. The PM stepper motor is composed of stator, rotor, shell and mounting plate. The rotor is made of permanent magnet material. Its number of poles is the same with that of the stator.
